Analysis of Aedes albopictus larvae surveillance and its influence factors in Xi'an City

Abstract：Objective To analyze the growth and decline of Breteau Index (BI) and the distribution characteristics of Aedes albopictus in Xi'an.Methods The BI method was used.Six monitoring sites were monitored and investigated,and the distribution and container type data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0.Results The BI of the recycling stations in Xi'an City was relatively high,up to 13.80.And the positive incidences of scrap tire and discarded containers were 3.26％ and 2.23％ respectively.The Pearson Correlation coefficient between climate and the BI were 0.863 (monthly temperature) and 0.909 (monthly rainfall) respectively,Conclusion The BI was varied with environments,the highest in recycling,stations.Climate factors,such as temperature and rainfall play important roles on BI.
