A survey on sandfly in Linzhou City of Henan Province

Abstract：Objective To understand the situation of Phlebotomus which was the vector of leishmaniasis in the epidemic area.Methods Sandflies were monitored 2 times a month by lamp and suction tube from June to October of 2016 in epidemic village,then classified and identified.Results 217 sandflies were captured,they were all Phlebotomus chinensis.Two were captured in June,214 in August,and one in September.Conclusion The sandfly widely exists in the epidemic village,and sandfly control is an important work.
