Determination of four repellents in mosquito repellent products by gas chromatography

Abstract：Objective To establish an accurate,rapid and simultaneous determination of four repellents in mosquito repellent products by gas chromatography.Methods Rtx-5 column (30 m × 0.32 mm × 0.25 μm),temperature programming were applied in the determination of four repellents,diethylroluamide,dimethyl pathalate,ethohexadiol,icaridin.Results The detection line of the 4 repellents reached 0.01％,the recovery rate was between 89.3％ and 93.4％,and the relative standard deviation was between 0.91 and 2.62.Conclusion The method is simple with good separation effect,high accuracy and good reproducibility,and can be used for rapid detection of the 4 repellents in mosquito repellent products.
