Resistace of Culex quinquefasciatus larvae to four insecticides in Yuzhong District of Chongqing

Abstract：Objective To investigate the resistance of Culex quinquefasciatus larvae to four insecticides in Yuzhong District of Chongqing.Methods The median lethal concentration (LC50) of the field population of Cx.quinquefasciatus larvae of Yuzhong was determined by immersing them with pesticide.Results The resistance ratios of Cx.quinquefasciatus larvae to deltamethrin,beta-cypermethrin,fenobucarb and temephos were respectively 6.22,2.57,1.04,and 1.02 in Yuzhong.Conclusion Cx.quinquefasciatus larvae of Yuzhong were sensitive to beta-cypermethrin,fenobucarb and temephos,but a little resistant to deltamethrin.
