Resistance monitoring of Musca domestica to insecticides in Haidian District of Beijing

Abstract：Objective To determine the resistance level of Musca domestica to five commonly used insecticides in Haidian District of Beijing and provide scientific basis for rational insecticides selection.Methods The resistance level of Musca domestica was bioassayed with the method of topical application.Results The field collected Musca domestica adults developed 11.31,14.24,45.04,25.42 and 5.23 folds resistance respectively to chlorpyrifos,acephate,deltamethrin,cypermethrin and propoxur.Conclusion The collected Musca domestica strains in Haidian District of Beijing have developed obvious and varying degrees of insecticide resistance.
