Resistance surveillance of field Blattella germanica to five commonly used insecticides in Changning District in 2014

Abstract：Objective To learn the resistant status of field Blattella germanica to acephate,deltamethrin,permethrin,cypermethrin and propoxur in Changning District and provide scientific evidence for its control.Methods The insecticide film contact method recommended by WHO was used.Results The field population of Blattella germanica was sensitive to acephate and propoxur,with the resistance ratios of 1.83 and 1.61;it developed low resistance to deltamethrin,permethrin and cypermethrin with the resistance ratios of 7.17,3.92 and 4.86.Conclusion Long-term heavy use of insecticides caused the development of insecticide resistance of Blattella germanica.It is necessary to use insecticides scientifically for Blattella germanica control.
