Fly species and distributions of Muscidae and Anthomyiidae in Changji State

Abstract：Objective To investitgate the species,ecology and geopraphic distribution of Muscidae and Anthomyiidae in Changji State.Methods Cage-trap and net-trap methods were employed to obtain fly samples.All the samples were identified to species level according to morphological classification plus reference analyses.Results 48 species were identified in 18 genera of Muscidae in Changji State,14 species 9 genera were found in Changji City,12 species 7 genera in Fukang City,42 species 15 genera in Manasi County,13 species 9 genera in Hutubi County,11 species 7 genera in Jimsar County,15 species 9 genera in Qitai County,11 species 7 genera in Mulei County,21 species belonging to 9 genera of Anthomyiidae were indentified.4 species 2 genera were found in Changji City,2 species 1 genera in Fukang City,19 species 9 genera in Manasi County,3 species 2 genera in Hutubi County,3 species 2 genera in Jimsar County,3 species 2 genera in Qitai County,3 species 2 genera in Mulei County.Conclusion The investigation elucidated the species,ecology and geopraphic distribution of flies.These works will further facilitate fly control in the future.
