Efficacy of 2 ％ hydramethylnon gel bait against Periplaneta americana in different densities

Abstract：Objective To test the control efficacy of 2％ hydramethylnon gel bait against Periplaneta americana in different densities.Methods Lab tests were adopted according to the standards of GB/T 13917.7-2009.Results The feeding indexes and 12 d mortality were 1.138 and 93.33％ respectively when the Periplaneta americana density was 20 pieces per chamber;while the Periplaneta americana density was 10 and 30 pieces per chamber,the feeding indexes were 0.928 and 0.413,and 12 d mortality were 73.33％ and 76.66％.Conclusion 2％ hydramethylnon gel bait held different efficacies when cockroaches in different densities,and displayed good control efficacy against Periplaneta americana when the cockroach density was 20 pieces per glass chamber.
