Abstract：In China,Patriotic Health Movement has been carried out for 65 years,and played an important and positive role in the development of China's health and the promotion of people's health.Medical vector control is an essential part of the Patriotic Health Movement.This article reviews the past,and summarizes medical vector control work in the 65 years as four stages as the starting,adjusting,turning and striding.The tasks,contents and characteristics of vector control in different stages are discussed,the development of vector control is prospected,and some suggestions are raised.
