Investigation on health education demand of plague prevention and control in Zhangjiakou City

Abstract：Objective To investigate the health education methods and contents for the tourist groups in Zhangjiakou City,and provide foundation for targeted plague health education and get better effect.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted among 375 travelers in Zhangjiakou.Results Correspondence analysis was made on the variables related to health education demand of plague in tourist population.There was little aggregation,and it was not easy to propagandize respectively.The travelers could be considered as a whole to conduct health education.Analysis of the basic data of the tourist population,the majority (95.80％) was 19 to 59 years old,and 84.31％ received the undergraduate and higher education.Those who received the high educational level and better acceptance ability knew some about the plague (Awareness rate of "plague and plague is infectious diseases" are both more than 90％),but little the specific knowledge.For example,the plague could be controlled,prevented and cured.As a result,86.27％ of them would not like to travel about the plague natural foci.Conclusion The harm of the plague cannot be overpropagated to the tourist population,but the real situation of the plague should be informed to eliminate the panic of the tourists.
