Resistance of housefly to five commonly used insecticides in Zhangjiagang City in 2015

Abstract：Objective To detect the resistance of housefly to 5 commonly used insecticides including deltamethrin,beta-cypermethrin,dichlorvos,phoxim and fenobucarb.Methods Topical application was employed to test the LD50s of insecticides.Results LD50s of 5 kinds of insecticides were respectively 0.002 7,0.043 6,0.302 8,0.152 3 and 5.334 0 μg per housefly,indicating that the houseflies developed 4.56,8.71,26.56,4.36 and 5.84 folds resistance to the 5 kinds of insecticides.Housefly developed high ressistance to dichlorvos and low resistance to deltamethrin,beta-cypermethrin,phoxim and fenobucarb in Zhangjiagang City.Conclusion Reasonable applicaiton of insecticides should be taken and based on the data of resistance.
