Control effect of non vegetarian baits against Suneus murinus in Fuzhou Bonded Port

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of non vegetarian baits applied in alluring Suneus murinus.Methods Dried fish,shrimps and other non-vegetarian foods were mixed as the base,and bromadiolone was added in to produce the bait with the final bromadiolone content of 0.5%.The baits were placed in the port to control Suneus murinus.Results Four months after the application,the density of Suneus murinus in port area decreased from 2.1% in January 2015 to 0.8% in April 2015.Conclusion Application of bromadiolone-stained dried fish,shrimp and other non-vegetarian foods as poisoning baits has good effect on Suneus murinus control.
