Research progress on the correlation between hyperuricemia and cerebrovascular disease

Abstract：In recent years,the correlation between hyperuricemia and cerebrovascular diseases(cerebral infarction,cerebral hemorrhage,subarachnoid hemorrhage and cerebral small vessel disease)has attracted great attention.Hyperuricemia has complex correlation with the risk of onset and clinical prognosis of cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage,which has practical clinical significance for guiding the diagnosis and treatment of cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage,but there are also many disputes and challenges.Hyperuricemia is associated with the occurrence and progression of cerebrovascular disease,and is a risk factor for cognitive and emotional dysfunction.This paper reviews the correlation between hyperuricemia and cerebrovascular diseases,and its specific mechanism of action,so as to provide basis for exploring the relevant precise intervention targets in the later stage.
