Prospects of early enteral nutrition support combined with music therapy for the prognosis of patients with severe traumatic brain injury

Abstract:Severe traumatic brain injury is characterized by high disability and mortality rates,and these patients have high nutritional demands under a state of high stress.Music therapy,which can stimulate auditory function,regulate neurological function and psychological state,has shown positive effects in promoting the recovery of patients'consciousness and improving their psychological conditions.The application of early enteral nutrition support combined with music therapy in patients with severe traumatic brain injury can synergistically enhance their nutritional status,neurological function and psychological state,reduce the incidence of complications,and improve the awakening rate and quality of life.However,there is currently a lack of unified standard for the clinical application of this combined treatment regimen.This article aims to conduct an in-depth exploration of the application progress of this combined regimen in the prognosis of treating patients with severe traumatic brain injury,hoping to provide new ideas for the treatment and nursing of such patients.
