Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of predictive psychological nursing on the rehabilitation of female patients with hemifacial spasm(HFS)after microvascular decompression(MVD).Methods A total of 82 female patients with HFS after MVD were prospectively included and randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group, with 41 patients in each group.General data, spasm ratings,depression/anxiety scale scores, total effective rate and postoperative complications, quality of life assessment and nursing satisfaction survey results were collected and analyzed by statistical means. Results 40 patients in the intervention group and 41 patients in the control group completed this study. After psychological nursing, the total effective rate of the intervention group was 100%,the scores of the Depression/Anxiety Scale were 9.71±1.85 and 10.98±3.17,the incidence of complications was 5%,the score of quality of life was 11.9±1.99,and the nursing satisfaction rate was 85%,all of which were significantly better than those of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Psychological nursing has potential benefits for the postoperative rehabilitation of female patients with HFS after MVD.It is recommended to explore its application in clinical practice and conduct multi-center large-sample studies for further verification.
