Abstract：Thoracic outlet syndrome(TOS)is a series of symptoms caused by compression of the neurovascular structure in the upper thoracic outlet.It can be classified into arterial TOS,venous TOS,and neurogenic TOS,with neurogenic TOS being the most common.Understanding the clinical manifestations and specific symptoms of TOS,as well as conducting appropriate auxiliary examinations,can aid in achieving an accurate diagnosis.Once TOS is diagnosed,treatment may include conservative therapy or surgical intervention.This article provides a comprehensive review of the anatomy,athophysiology,clinical manifestations,diagnosis,and treatment of thoracic outlet syndrome.
