Research advances in prevention and treatment of battlefield traumatic brain injury

Abstract:Battlefield traumatic brain injury(TBI)has emerged as a significant cause of disability and death in modern warfare.As battlefield environments become more and more complex and there is increased focus on the safety of combat personnel,the prevention and treatment of battlefield TBI are receiving heightened attention.The effective prevention and management of TBI not only influences the survival rates of military personnel but also affects overall operational effectiveness.Although considerable progress has been made in research related to this issue,new perspectives continue to arise.This review aims to synthesize recent advancements in strategies for preventing and treating battlefield TBI,especially those tailored to the realities of combat zones.By examining innovative approaches in preemptive protection and acute care interventions,this article provides practical references that can enhance battlefield medical protocols,ultimately striving to improve casualty outcomes through evidence-based solutions in tactical medicine.
