Abstract:With the evolution of modern warfare toward informatization and intelligentization, the early identification and rapid diagnosis of battlefield traumatic brain injuries have become critical to improving the success rate of combat casualty care.In recent years, continuous progress has been made in rapid diagnostic methods for frontline care, including tools for detecting intracranial hemorrhage, biofluid biomarker tests, pathogen detection for post-injury infections, portable imaging equipment, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and telemedicine systems, which are gradually being applied in real combat and training environments.Although some of these technologies have been validated in conflicts such as Afghanistan and Ukraine or during our military exercises, bottlenecks remain in terms of adaptability, deployment efficiency, data integration, and usage protocols.Enhancing the capability for rapid frontline diagnosis is the prerequisite for swift and precise medical intervention, and it is imperative to intensify research on core rapid diagnostic technologies to establish a rapid diagnosis and treatment system tailored to our military's needs for battlefield traumatic brain injuries.
