Application of imaging evaluation of brain structural changes in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease

Abstract：Alzheimer's disease(AD)is a chronic and progressive neurodegenerative disease that mainly affects the memory,cognitive,and behavioral functions of elderly people.Its characteristics are a gradual decline in cognitive function and significant changes in brain structure.With the aggravation of population aging,the incidence rate of AD is rising and has become a global public health problem.The progressive development of the disease has brought difficulties to the evaluation of therapeutic efficacy.Imaging examination,as an important means of diagnosing AD,can provide key information on brain structure and function,providing important basis for early identification,disease assessment,and treatment strategy formulation of the disease.This article introduces the application value of imaging examination in evaluating AD treatment and its value in clinical trials of stem cell therapy for AD.
