Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of intracranial pressure(ICP)monitoring in severe traumatic brain injury. Methods 96 patients with severe traumatic brain injury admitted to the Neurosurgery Department of Pudong New Area People's Hospital in Shanghai from July 2022 to June 2024 were selected for ICP monitoring. The impact of ICP monitoring on patient prognosis and clinical outcomes were Evaluated by collecting and analyzing relevant clinical data. Results Early and continuous ICP monitoring can help control ICP,maintain cerebral perfusion pressure, and improve clinical prognosis.ICP monitoring can detect intracranial hypertension early and intervene in a timely manner, significantly reducing mortality and disability rates, optimizing treatment, and reducing complications. Conclusion ICP monitoring can effectively improve the prognosis of patients with severe traumatic brain injury and reduce mortality.
