Characteristics of modern war traumatic brain injury and wartime treatment insights

Abstract：The use of high-tech weapons in modern warfare has led to significant changes in the factors,spectrum,and types of brain injuries.Currently,shock waves are the main cause of brain injuries in warfare;The category of injury has shifted from open traumatic brain injury to closed traumatic brain injury.Among them,moderate to severe TBI accounts for 9%-15%,and the timeliness requirements for TBI treatment are higher.Based on the characteristics of traumatic brain injury in current wars,we have strengthened our research in the design of new helmets,markers of the circulatory system,the development of non specialized standardization plans for various types of TBI,the research and use of artificial cranial cavities,the construction of a five tiered medical rescue system,and AI assisted medical support,providing us with new rescue concepts for TBI treatment in modern warfare.
