A Case of Giant Meningioma of the Sphenoid Ridge with Complete Resection
Abstract:The resection of giant meningiomas of the sphenoid ridge is challenging. This article reports a 53-year-old patient with a giant meningioma of the sphenoid ridge (right frontal-temporal region), originating from the middle and lateral parts of the sphenoid ridge. The patient was treated by the Department of Neurosurgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University and recovered well, being discharged one week after surgery. This article analyzes the diagnostic and therapeutic process of this case for clinical reference.
