Abstract:Cerebral palsy (CP) is one of the most common causes of muscle strength and tone disorders in children. According to the latest definition,CP is a syndrome of persistent central motor and postural developmental disorders characterized by mobility limitations, resulting from non-progressive injury to the developing fetal or infant brain. The clinical manifestations of CP are diverse, and its triggering factors are also very complex. Treating CP is a complex process that requires comprehensive consideration of multiple aspects. Surgical treatment can effectively improve CP language disorders, muscle tone disorders, and correct deformities, creating conditions for later rehabilitation treatment. By analyzing the efficacy of current surgical procedures in improving language disorders, muscle tone disorders, and deformity correction in CP patients, this article summarizes the indications and surgical outcomes of relevant surgical methods so as to provide reference for clinical practice.
