Abstract:Brain gliomas, particularly glioblastoma, are highly aggressive and difficult-to-treat primary intracranial tumors characterized by high rates of recurrence and mortality. Traditional treatment modalities such as surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy have limited efficacy;thus, the search for novel therapeutic strategies has become a major focus in current glioma research. Immunotherapy has garnered increasing attention in cancer treatment, and among these,Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cell immunotherapy has emerged as a promising new strategy demonstrating great potential. This article systematically explores the mechanisms of CAR-T cells in the treatment of brain gliomas, discusses the latest advancements and challenges, and envisions future directions for CAR-T cell therapy in glioma treatment.
