Abstract:Mild traumatic brain injury(mTBI)is a common neurological disease.Trauma can directly or indirectly induce structural and/or functional changes in brain tissues.Accurate description and rapid evaluation of these changes through advanced medical imaging techniques can improve the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of mTBI patients. In recent years,a variety of special sequence magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)have emerged with several neuroimaging technology innovations. This article reviews and summarizes relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years, focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of multimodal magnetic resonance imaging sequences, clinical applications, and characteristic changes in brain tissue structure and function after mTBI so as to provide some reference for the diagnosis and prognostic assessment of mTBI imaging from different perspectives.
