A comparison of thrombectomy effects of EmboTrapⅡstent and Solitaire FR stent in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke with large vessel occlusion

Abstract：Objective To compare the differences between the EmboTrapⅡstent and Solitaire FR stent in intracranial artery thrombectomy.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 66 patients with acute cerebral embolism in Jiaozhou Branch,Dongfang Hospital,Tongji University.According to the use of stents during surgery,they were divided into the EmboTrapⅡstent group and the Solitaire FR stent group.The surgical time,one-time recanalization rate,and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Results The EmboTrapⅡstent group had almost no difference in surgical difficulty and prognosis compared to the Solitaire FR stent group,but it could greatly improve the rate of one-time thrombectomy and recanalization,and shorten the surgical time.Conclusions The EmboTrapⅡstent can greatly shorten the surgical time and improve the recanalization rate during intracranial artery thrombectomy.
