Abstract:Objective To summarize the experience gained from neuroendoscopy during a cerebral aneurysm surgery. Methods One case of bilateral intracranial multiple aneurysms was treated with the neuroendoscopic unilateral approach. The process of diagnosis and treatment was reviewed while the applications of neuroendoscopy in clipping aneurysms were analyzed. Results The patient underwent neuroendoscopic unilateral craniotomy to clip bilateral multiple aneurysms. She recovered well and was discharged. Conclusion Cerebral aneurysms are typically acute, critical and severe.Through neuroendoscopy, direct vision and multi-angle and omni-directional observation, the unilateral approach can remove bilateral multiple aneurysms and improve the overall level of treatment.
