Abstract:Objective To explore the applications of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in perioperative nursing among patients with blister-like cerebral aneurysm and receiving interventional treatment. Methods Sixty-eight patients with blood blister-like cerebral aneurysms and admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery between January 2020 and January 2023 were treated with stent-assisted coil embolization. These patients were randomly divided into the ERAS group and control group(N=34 per group). As for perioperative nursing, the former group received ERAS while the latter underwent conventional care.Postoperative complications,Glasgow Outcome Scale(GOS),length of hospital stay and degree of satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in basic data between the two groups upon admission.Postoperative complications occurred in 5 patients in the ERAS group and the number increased to 13 in the control group. Moreover, there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Both GOS and levels of satisfaction with nursing 30 days after surgery were better in the ERAS group than in the control group(P<0.01).In addition, the average length of hospital stay was shorter in the ERAS group(P<0.01).Conclusion The application of ERAS nursing techniques after interventions among patients with BSA could not only leave patients more satisfied with nursing, but also effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.Meanwhile, patients'prognosis can be improved and hospital stay shortened. In the future, clinical research with larger sample size will be of great value for both the popularization and application of this therapeutic method.
