The application of PBL teaching method on clinical teaching of Neurology

Abstract：Objeetive The implementation method and effect of PBL in the clinical teaching in the Department of Neurology were discussed.Methods A total of 56 cases of interns in the Department of Neurology in our hospital from June 2015 to June 2017 were selected as the research objects and were divided into two groups with 28 cases in each according to different teaching methods.The routine group adopted the traditional teaching method,while the PBL group adopted the PBL method,and the teaching effect between two groups was observed.Results The clinical operation and case analysis skills in the PBL group were higher than those in the routine group,and the total satisfactory rate in the PBL group was obviously better than that in the routine group (92.86％ vs 60.71％) (P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL teaching method in the clinical teaching in the Department of Neurology can not only improve the clinical operation and case analysis skills of students,but also improve the self-learning ability,which is worth promotion in the clinical teaching.
