Abstract:Objective The value of computed tomography angiography (CTA) and computed tomography perfusion (CTP) for prediction of clinical outcomes in acute ischemic stroke after thrombelysis was discussed. Methods Eight-two acute patients admitted to our hospital for intravenous thrombolysis were included in this study. The patients who underwent brain CTA and CTP before intravenous thrombolysis were divided into Group A (CTA and CTP positive,n =38),Group B (CTA positive,CTP negative,n =14),Group C (CTA negative,CTP positive,n =24),and Group D (CTA and CTP negative,n =7).National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to assess the short-term outcome, and 3-month mRS to assess the long-term outcome. Results The short-term and long-term outcomes in Group A were better than those of Group B,C and D (P <0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between Group A and Group B (P > 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in short-term and long-term outcomes in the various locations (P >0.05).Conclusion CTA combined with CTP has a certain predictive value for the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction after thrombolytic therapy.
