Abstract:Objective The evaluation value of three-dimensional CT angiography (3D-CTA) and three-dimensional digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA) in microsurgical clipping of cerebral aneurysms was investigated. Methods A total of 92 patients with suspected intracranial aneurysms treated in our hospital from January 2013 to February 2016 were enrolled in the study. The surgical results were regarded as a gold standard to evaluate the value of 3D-CTA and 3D-DSA in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms. Results Among 92 cases,3D-CTA was positive in 74 cases and 78 aneurysrs were diagnosed;3D-DSA was positive in 73 cases and 76 aneurysms were diagnosed. The sensitivity and specificity of 3D-CTA in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysrs were 94.12%and 97.33%;the sensitivity and specificity of 3D-DSA in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms were 97.33% and 100%;the image quality of tumor in 3D-CTA detection was better than that of 3D-DSA (P < 0.05).Conclusion The ability of 3D-CTA in diagnosing cerebral aneurysm is comparable to 3D-DSA,but 3D-CTA shows the better anatomic structure and peripheral structure than 3D-DSA,which can provide the necessary information for the microsurgical clipping.
