Prognostic analysis of gliomas

Abstract：Objective The factors affecting the survival time of patients with glioma were discussed.Methods A total of 200 patients with Grade Ⅱ ～ Ⅳ glioma from January 2010 to January 2014 in Xijing Hospital were analyzed retrospectively.The data were obtained from the medical records and telephone follow-up data.Multivariate survival analysis was conducted by SPSS 19.0 statistical software.Results Age older than 60 years,ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes ＞ 4 were the risk factors of the prognosis.Temozolomide,Nimustine (Foternustine),radiotherapy,simultaneous radiotherapy and chemotherapy were the protective factors of the prognosis.Collusion Age over 60 years and ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes ＞ 4 suggest that glioma patients have a poor prognosis.Chemotherapy,radiotherapy and concurrent chemoradiotherapy have a certain improvement in survival time of patients with gliomas.
