Analysis of the risk factors and management of the complications of anterior cervical spine surgery

Abstract：Objective The risk factors of complications of anterior cervical spine surgery and the managements were discussed and analyzed.Methods Clinical data of patients admitted to Neurosurgery Department of Xuanwu Hospital from Jan 1,2013 to Jan 1,2017 was analyzed retrospectively,and the complications of anterior cervical spine surgery was investigated to identify the risk factors and the management of the complications.Results The rate of complications in ACCF was significantly higher than that of one-level ACDF.Age was one of the risk factors for the complications.There was no significant difference in the risk factor analysis for sex,time of operation and blood loss.Conclusion Operation strategy plays an important role in the occurrence of complications.Age is one of the risk factors.But sex,time of operation and blood loss are not the risk factors.
