Abstract:Magnetocardiography is a high-precision,non-invasive,non-contact detection and analysis technique for magnetic field signals of cardiac electrical activity.Compared with conventional electrocardiography, magnetocardiography has higher temporal and spatial resolution and is not interfered by heterogeneous conduction of human tissues, which can more directly reflect the real electrical activity of cardiomyocytes. In recent years, with the advancement of detection technology and signal analysis methods, magnetocardiography has shown unique value in the mechanistic research, clinical diagnosis, lesion localization, evaluation of therapeutic effect and prognosis of arrhythmias,as well as screening for fetal arrhythmias. This article systematically reviews the physical principles and examination methods of magnetocardiography, focuses on its latest application progress in arrhythmias.Meanwhile,it analyzes the current technical challenges and clinical limitations of magnetocardiography, and prospects its future development directions.
