Diagnosis and treatment experience of a rare case of mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma of the rectum and literature review

Abstract：Mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma(MANEC)of the colorectum is a rare type of gastroin-testinal tumor,in which both adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine carcinoma components should each account for at least 30％.MANEC is characterized by low incidence,high malignancy,strong invasiveness,early distant metastasis and poor prognosis.In addition,due to insufficient clinical understanding,early and accurate histopathological diagnosis is an important basis for individualized multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment.The diagnosis and treatment experience of 1 patient with MANEC is reported,and a literature review and discussion are conducted for clinical reference.
