Abstract:Inverted formin 2(INF2),a member of the formin family with dual functions of actin polymeri-zation and depolymerization, has attracted increasing attention in tumorigenesis and development in recent years.By regulating mitochondrial dynamics, cytoskeleton remodeling, organelle interaction and other processes,INF2 exerts complex roles in various malignant tumors. This paper reviews the functional mechanisms of INF2 in different types of tumors and its potential clinical application value, and also discusses the research status and future development direction of INF2 as a potential therapeutic target, aiming to provide new ideas and strategies for clinical treatment.
