Abstract:Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)represent a major breakthrough in modern medical cancer therapy, pioneering a new paradigm for tumor treatment.However,immune-related adverse events(irAEs)are critical constraints affecting patients' ability to sustain immunotherapy and also one of the important limiting factors for expanding the application scope of immunotherapy. The onset time of irAEs is unpredictable, with variable symptoms ranging in severity.Their unique pathogenic mechanisms render the management of these adverse events particularly complex.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)serves as a vital cornerstone in the prevention and treatment of drug-induced adverse reactions. From the perspective and theory of TCM,enhancing the understanding and management of irAEs,as well as researching and constructing optimal prediction models and TCM intervention strategies for irAEs,are topics worthy of exploration at present.
