Abstract:Exosomes are nanoscale membrane vesicles secreted by cells, which play a crucial role in cell communication and are involved in various physiological and pathological processes of the human body.Among them, exosomal microRNA-148 exerts an important regulatory effect on the occurrence and development of gastric diseases. This review summarizes the research on the regulatory mechanisms of exosomal microRNA-148 in common gastric diseases such as gastritis, gastric ulcer and gastric cancer,as well as the intervention effects of traditional Chinese medicine on it.It is found that exosomes can transfer biomolecules including DNA,coding RNA,non-coding RNA,lipids and proteins between cells, regulate related signaling pathways, and exert important values in the occurrence, development, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and other aspects of various gastric diseases. In the prevention and treatment of gastric diseases, traditional Chinese medicine can also regulate the physiological and pathological processes of the body by affecting the secretion of exosomes and the expression of biomolecules such as non-coding RNA carried by them. This review aims to provide new ideas and theoretical basis for the treatment of gastric diseases.
