Abstract:Lymph node calcification in the parotid gland region is a rare chronic secondary disease with potential clinical significance. This article reports a case of a 41-year-old female patient with left parotid gland region lymph node calcification, who presented with a mass in the left preauricular area for 30 years. The patient had no obvious symptoms in the early stage and sought medical attention recently due to occasional pain.Imaging examinations suggested a calcified nodule in the left parotid gland, and intraoperative and postoperative pathology further confirmed lymph node calcification in the parotid gland region.Open surgical treatment was performed, and the patient recovered well postoperatively. The uniqueness of this case lies in its long disease course and rare anatomical location. The diagnosis and treatment of such diseases require a comprehensive consideration of patient symptoms, lesion characteristics, and pathological results. This report aims to provide a therapeutic reference for clinicians when encountering similar rare cases.
