Research progress on clinical trials of drugs for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction

Abstract：The incidence of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFpEF)is increasing year by year,accounting for nearly 50％of the total number of patients with heart failure,and it has become a hot and difficult research topic in the cardiovascular field.Currently,diuretic,sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitor,aldosterone-receptor antagonist,renin-angiotensin system inhibitor and etiological screening are the main drug treatments for HFpEF,while the traditional drug evidence for the treatment of heart failure is limited.HFpEF has strong heterogeneity,complex pathogenesis,and few effective drugs.Therefore,it is of great clinical significance to actively strengthen the treatment of HFpEF.This article reviews the clinical trials of drugs recommended by the guidelines and research hotspots in the treatment of HFpEF in recent years,in order to provide reference for the treatment and future research of HFpEF.
