Abstract:The Ⅲ degree atrioventricular block refers to complete atrioventricular separation caused by the inability of the excitation from the atrium to downtransmit to the ventricle. The symptoms depend on the speed of the ventricular rate.If the ventricular rate is slow, there may be no obvious symptoms, but if the ventricular rate is very slow, dizziness, fatigue, syncope, and even cardiac arrest may occur.A 71-year-old male patient with a history of myocardial infarction was reported. After taking levamlodipine besylate tablets for 2 d,he developed amaurosis and Ⅲ degree atrioventricular block. The cause was considered to be adverse reactions caused by levam-lodipine besylate tablets.Sinus rhythm was restored 1 week after discontinuation of levamlodipine besylate tablets. The clinical data of the patient were analyzed, and the correlation of adverse reactions was evaluated. It was considered that levamlodipine besylate tablets caused Ⅲ degree atrioventricular block. It is suggested that we should be alert to the occurrence of adverse reactions of Ⅲ degree atrioventricular block in clinical application of this drug and improve the safety of medication.
