Abstract:Heart failure,as one of the most common chronic diseases in the elderly population, not only affects the physical health of patients, but also affects the quality of life of patients with a variety of complications, especially cognitive dysfunction. In recent years, the management of blood pressure in patients with heart failure has received increasing attention.Related studies have shown that there is a close correlation between blood pressure level and cognitive dysfunction.Hypertension, hypotension and blood pressure variability may have different degrees of impact on cognitive function, but the mechanism of these effects has not been fully elucidated. In addition, the effectiveness and adaptability of clinical interventions need to be further explored. This article aims to review the current status of blood pressure management in patients with heart failure, analyze its effects on cognitive function and potential physiological mechanisms, explore the existing problems in current research, and propose future research directions,in order to provide new ideas for improving the overall health of patients with heart failure.
