Abstract：Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease,which can cause the involvement of multiple organs and systems such as bones and joints.Elderly patients with rheumatoid arthritis have the characteristics of organ dysfunction,low immune system function,and more complications,which lead to an increased incidence of infection.Patients with infection are difficult to treat,have a poor prognosis,and have a high mortality rate.Therefore,it is of great clinical significance to explore the relationship between elderly rheumatoid arthritis and infection.This article reviews the risk factors of elderly rheumatoid arthritis complicated with infection,in order to improve the understanding of elderly rheumatoid arthritis complicated with infection.
