The effect of Xuesaitong dropping pills combined with clopidogrel in the treatment of medium-high risk transient ischemic attack and its influence on related inflammatory markers

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Xuesaitong dropping pills combined with clopidogrel in the treatment of medium-high risk transient ischemic attack and its influence on related inflammatory markers.Methods A total of 96 patients with moderate and high risk transient ischemic attack who were treated in Hebei General Hospital from December 2021 to August 2023 were selected.A total of 96 patients were divided into control group(48 cases)and observation group(48 cases)by random number table method.The control group was treated with clopidogrel bisulfate tablets,and the observation group was treated with Xuesaitong dropping pills combined with clopidogrel bisulfate tablets.Both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The total effective rate,ABCD-2 score,serum inflammatory markers,incidence of acute cerebral infarction,and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group[93.8％(45/48)vs 79.2％(38/48)](P＜0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the ABCD-2 scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the ABCD-2 score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group[(2.3±1.0)vs(3.2±1.0)](P＜0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the levels of serum interleukin-1 β,monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 and C-reactive protein in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(all P＜0.05).The incidence of acute cerebral infarction in the observation group at 6 months was lower than that in the control group[4.2％(2/48)vs 16.7％(8/48)](P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Xuesaitong dripping pills combined with clopidogrel in the treatment of medium-high risk transient ischemic attack can achieve good effect,reduce the ABCD-2 score,serum inflammatory index levels and the risk of acute cerebral infarction in the short time,and the adverse reactions are few and mild.
