Abstract:Cervical cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the female reproductive system.Persistent infection of high-risk human papillomavirus(HR-HPV)is the main cause of cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer, and the main cause of female death worldwide.Despite the continuous updates in prevention, screening, and treatment methods for cervical cancer, significant progress has been made. However, for patients with advanced recurrent and metastatic cervical cancer, the treatment effect is not ideal. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the molecular mechanism of cervical cancer and find new prevention and treatment strategies and targeted therapies. This article focuses on the molecular regulatory mechanism of HR-HPV,the regulatory mechanism of estrogen, progesterone and immune regulation on HR-HPV in the occurrence and development of cervical cancer, and the molecular mechanism of ferroptosis involved in cervical cancer occurrence and development, which will open up a new perspective for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer.
