Abstract:Salt-sensitive hypertension,as a kind of hypertension,is more common in northwest and north-east China, and its pathogenesis is quite complex.Currently, there are explanations for salt-sensitive hypertension that result from long-term use of salt leading to disorders in the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system,as well as studies from a genetic perspective and those that investigate the activation of receptor signaling pathways. This review will focus on the newly discovered sodium channel of renal subdorsal membrane cells to discuss salt-sensitive hypertension.
