Abstract:Intervertebral disc degeneration is a complex degenerative disease affected by many factors, and its mechanism still needs to be further explored.Mechanical stimulation has a significant effect on the nucleus pulposus cells in the intervertebral disc, which is of great significance for understanding the mechanism of degeneration and finding treatment strategies. This article summarizes the animal models, new materials, cytoskeleton, cell pathways, mitochondrial damage and aging, and further explores the role and influence of mechanical stimulation on nucleus pulposus cells,so as to provide a more effective and safer treatment plan for lumbar disc degeneration diseases.
