Abstract：Medical academic journals are the platforms for the dissemination and promotion of related scientific research achievements in the field of medicine and health in China,and their high-quality development is an important embodiment of national medical academic strength and international influence.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,the achievements of medical academic journals in China have attracted wide attention.Medical academic journals serve the country and society,and have made outstanding contributions in the dissemination of knowledge,talent cultivation,academic exchange,leading innovation,achievement transformation,and foreign exchanges.With the new requirements of the new era,the scientific and technological periodicals in China are constantly strengthening their influence,communication power and reputation.The majority of scientific and technological workers and medical academic journal publishers shoulder the mission,and there is a long way to go on how to keep the integrity and innovation,and produce new results.This paper summarizes and discusses the relevant elements involved in the high-quality development of medical academic journals.
