Research progress on the relationship and treatment of atopic dermatitis and atopic comorbidities and progression

Abstract：Atopic dermatitis(AD)is often associated with atopic comorbidities.With the increasing number of AD and atopic comorbidities,AD has become a major public health problem.Most studies believe that AD and its comorbidities occur in a chronological sequence,from AD and food allergy,to allergic rhinitis,and finally to asthma.This phenomenon is often referred to as atopic progression.At present,the mechanism of this atopic progression is not fully understood.This article reviews the research progress on the epidemiology of AD,its association with atopic comorbidity,risk factors,possible mechanisms of atopic comorbidity and its progression,as well as its prevention and treatment measures.
