Research progress of preclinical rheumatoid arthritis

Abstract：The development of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a multi-step process and the disease is active before clinical arthritic symptoms appear.Preclinical rheumatoid arthritis(Pre-RA)refers to the period of disease development from the onset of the disease to the onset of clinical arthritis.It has been demonstrated that preclinical intervention can reduce the severity of RA and delay the onset of RA.The purpose of this review is to explore the risk factors for developing into RA from Pre-RA,so as to achieve the best therapeutic effect through appropriate pre-clinical intervention in high-risk groups of RA.
